Worksafe Victoria ERTS Update

GAVIN MOREIRA, Members Services Manager for the CMPA provides a report on the latest incidents as reported to WorkSafe Victoria.

The latest Earth Resources Tripartite Safety Forum was held at WorkSafe in Melbourne on 26th October 2017. The following information relating to incidents in quarries was presented.

Visits to quarries 1 June 2017 to 30 September 2017

There were 106 visits conducted, of these visits 111 Improvement Notices and 9 were through Voluntary Compliance. Plant Guarding and Traffic Management/Site Security still require the most improvement notices.
